   This is the hottest place in West Portal for sure. Delicious margaritas and they make them frozen with seasonal menus. Their service needs work or at least operations at the front desk to seating and getting service. For us, we have 2 kids and waited over 45 minutes to order. They did not notice us, which is a little frustrating with kids. Cannot complain on food and ambiance, A+.

   Food was mediocre. Deep fried squid slightly overcooked slightly chewy. Rice, beef, beans were on the bland side, monotonous texture. Chips were good. Orange margarita needed more flavor, more kick and less ice. Heard great things but was disappointed. Service was very good and friendly.

   Everything was excellent!! We truly enjoyed the food, it was fantastic. The only negative comment was that the music was a bit too loud, hard to hear the servers as well as others at our table. Can’t wait to go again!

   Laurel was a genuine & attentive server! The entire staff was excellent. Elena’s is a beautiful space to enjoy with friends & family. The tostadas were tiny, but yummy. Calamari was plentiful and did not disappoint. Bloody Madre with mezcal was a nice surprise. Pancakes & Chilequiles were good. Overall, it’s pricey, but worth it.

   We had an awesome 1st experience! My Sissy saw a post on IG & knew she wanted to eat here for her bday! And y’all did NOT disappoint. Service, ambiance, food & value were on point. Wanna say one of the best overall spots for Mexican I’ve been to here in the Bay! Thank you Elena’s for your hospitality!

   Excellent food, inventive delicious drinks, stellar ambiance (gorgeous space)and service! Friday at 5:45 and it was hopping! Worth that hard to get rezzie! It really feels like a night out.

    The service and the ambience was so relaxing. The food was scrumptious, especially the tortilla soup and the hot honey mango frozed margarita!
