   Love Elephant Sushi in Hayes Valley! We had an early Valentine's Day dinner here, and while we waited for our table, the host Elena was so warm and welcoming and offered us some prosecco to ease the wait. Ambience is great for friends or an intimate dinner, sushi is delicious, and drinks are fun. Highly recommend!

   One of my best food experiences. Remember pre-pandemic when wait staff was attentive? That was the level of service. The food was just heavenly. Albacore Tataki on Himilyan Rock Salt tickled different areas of my taste buds. The food kept getting better. Chef Ochko Roll was prepared with such precision the hamachi belly, avocado, & crunchy garlic were like time release explosions of flavor. I didn't think it could get any better. Then the flaming Sea Bass was brought to the table. The presentation as the sea bass was flame cooked at the table built anticipation. The combination of flavors was like a symphony in your mouth. If you want a culinary experience Elephant Sushi is the place to go.

   Popped in before the ballet. Restaurant was busy but staff was very friendly and the restaurant had a good vibe. Dinner was pricey, but delicious.

   Tiffany was one of the best managers I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I want to come back just because she was so nice.

   Every bite was delish and service was attentive but not overly so. Super cute smallish place attention to detail was spot on. Will come back soon.

   The Himalayan Trout, Flaming Sea Bass, and Chips and Dip were all fabulous. The wine and the Gingered Compass were a perfect compliment. The service was efficient and friendly. I give Elephant Sushi high marks!

   When we arrived the Hostess was very welcoming and took us to our table. My wife and I don't eat sushi very often and we tend to lean towards cooked rolls. The waiter was outstanding in explaining the options and recommendations he had. The food was incredible as well as the cocktails.

    Elephant Sushi is hands-down the best sushi restaurant in San Francisco. The food is absolutely delicious. Original and fresh. They are getting orders in directly from Japan. The hostess Tiffany is easily the best host assistant in San Francisco. Friendly, energetic with Attention to detail. My favorite restaurant.
