   Food was great, but service was so incredibly slow. We were there for over an hour and just wanted to be home at that point. I came because I wanted octopus salad and I like theirs better than the surrounding areas. Bar didn’t have amaretto, but there are like 3 bars, so that was kind of weird. It’s so loud that you have to scream to hear the person you’re with. Notes on Open Table aren’t acknowledged, so what’s the point of even having that section? I had been here once before and had a so-so experience and really wanted to like it this second time because there’s just always a line, but it’s just a miss for me.

   The staff were attentive and were kind enough to fulfill my request for seating for my date. It was my first time coming here and I will definitely be back after experiencing such a wonderful team and experience there!!

   Food was quite good, service as well. Had lunch at 2pm on Sunday - noise level was, well - next level. We were seated in the outside(ish) area, bar was in the room, music was loud. Our waiter had to yell, we had to yell to hear each other. At one point, they turned UP the music ☝️

   The food was just okay, but it was so loud that you couldn’t hear anyone across the table. The person who checked us in was rude, and the server was unpleasant as well. To top it off, they kicked my group out because they needed to prepare our table for the next reservation. I won’t be returning.

   Overall, the experience was good. If you are looking for a rooftop restaurant, you should definitely try Élephante. Reservations are almost required and walk-ins have an option of the bar, however it is ALWAYS FULL. Our food came out before our drinks, so that was mainly the only downfall. Would have been nice to enjoy a cocktail prior to our food coming but on a high note, the kitchen is quick and you get your food quick. It was also hot so that’s great.

    When I booked the table only the cactus room was available but I requested that given this was a special occasion if they could seat us in the sunset room. When we checked in, the hostess informs me that they do not have anything available but we are the first to move to the sunset room! Not only did they put us in the cactus room but probably at the worst table right at the entrance under the speaker that was so loud we could not even have a conversation. And because we were a party of 7, a 20% gratuity was already added to the bill so the service was TERRIBLE!!! The food is always good! They never even acknowledged the special occasion/birthday until the waitress heard one of the guest tell me that because it’s my birthday I should choose the dessert and that’s when she brought it with a candle & it was comped!
