   The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful but the service was unfortunately subpar. I made a reservation for the lounge 2 weeks before and when we got there the staff seemed unsure where to put us and last minute put a table together. The staff was very polite but there seemed to be only 1-2 people serving several large parties so service was slow. The food menu is very limited and was just okay.

   We had a fantastic tea time, brought our dog and she had a great time too. The host was amazing, it got very busy all at once and she handled the situation perfectly. We felt bad that she was the only server, literally runnng back and forth between guests. All the while smiling and having a nice conversation and vibrant personality!

   Went with a girlfriend on a very light attendance afternoon and it was absolutely perfect. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Tea time was absolutely perfect and the amount of food served for two was also just the right amount. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.

   Afternoon Tea at Elliston Vineyards was a truly delightful experience. The serene setting, with its stunning scenery, made for a peaceful escape. We enjoyed watching the playful ostriches, and the koi pond added a touch of tranquility. The grounds are bursting with beautiful flowers, making it a picturesque spot for a relaxing afternoon.

   Beautiful outdoor setting in the yards of a mansion, with a small indoor area if guests prefer it. Sangria was good, service was prompt and friendly. They offer "regular", "vegetarian", and for $10 extra, a "vegan" tea set. They could improve the number of tea offerings. They only had two in leaves and the rest were bagged. Food was OK. Well presented. Server was dressed too informally for that kind of place and prices. Also, chairs were hard, and they had horrible and dirty bee traps hanging everywhere.

   We enjoyed the tea very much. When we arrived they had our table set up outside and were very accommodating when we asked to be moved inside. (it was a little cool) The food was just enough and very tasty. We were the only ones there and were treated to a glass of sparkling Rose which was delicious. Everyone was very friendly, we had a lovely time.

    Our recent dining experience at Elliston Vineyard was very disappointing and certainly overpriced considering the results of our experience. The appetizers and bread were fine and the desert was fine. The wine was so so considering this was at a reputable winery. The tannins were so predominant that the Cabernet was almost what I would call astringent. But regarding the wine, it was odd that only three wines were offered, all three in bottles were $168 each, but only one was offered by the glass at $36 per glass! I was taken aback that no wines were included with the meal, but were an extra charge. But the main course (beef short ribs, mashed potatoes, gravy and asparagus) were presented like a plate of “all you can eat” at the Moose Club social. The culprit was the gravy that was so salty that anchovies would swim ashore if given the chance. Regrettably the gravy was poured over everything so all portions were tainted. This was like Dinty Moore stew served at Denny’s for heavens sake! The help was polite and courteous, but seemingly untrained for serving at a fine dining atmosphere. Seemed like temps hired from the local college, adequate but not elegant. My wife and I have had fine dining experiences at the Elliston Winery over the last ten+ years, but they obviously have turned over the dining management to someone who does not get what that really means. At just under $400 for a dinner for two, we were expecting a more memorable experience……….well, on second thought, we did get that!
