   The atmosphere is great, quite comfortable. The food is outstanding just like its sister restaurant Cesarina. The pasta dish portions are slightly smaller than st Cesarina but just as if not even more delicious. Most of all, the level of service is unparalleled. They do not serve complimentary bread (yet!) but are apparently going to be starting soon.

   It takes a lot for me to be impressed on every level but I cannot say enough good things about Elvira. From the outstanding service to the knowledgeable staff to the quality of the food and drinks. Wow! We were started off by a great male (manager maybe?) who was super thorough with my food allergies and knew everything about the menu. I had: - the vegan caccio Pepe with gluten free pasta- WHICH IS HOMEMADE and so so good. The best gf pasta I’ve had in San Diego. - vegan mozzarella caprese salad was also so good for being vegan. Super fresh, flavorful tomatoes. - gluten free pizza: the crust is homemade and so realistic tasting/texture that it’s scary! Haha. I had vegan cheese also on that- you could hardly tell drinks: the Italian red wines were delicious. Also had a few drinks from the cocktail menu: the fig jam mezcal cocktail (What a COMBO! ♥️) as well as the white Negroni YUM

   Elvira is a great treat for the senses! Our server, Andrea, was amazing-answering questions and making recommendations! The portions were generous and the wood fired pizza delicious!

   Great service and the food was great to have on it’s on or share. Restaurant was very clean and there was very little noise even from other tables. I will definitely go again.

   Went last night for Valentine’s day and it was amazing. I have no complaints. Our server Andrea was so helpful and attentive. Would come again and would recommend
