Emmy Squared has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust. Beyond pizza, the menu includes salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger by Matt Hyland and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich)! Did we mention 'Emmy' is the nickname of Emily Hyland? Full service bar, local NYC beers & great wine selection.

I enjoyed everything about this place, the people the food, I had a bad experience at the Williamsburg location and almost gave up on the business entirely but this location made me fall in love with it again. I will definitely be back

Food was not nearly as good as my visit a year ago. Pizza was not crisp on edges or bottom. Caesar salad no longer used whole romaine leaves or bread crumbs. Unlikely to return

The food here is great, but the service is really slow. This was on a Saturday night and the staff seemed to be hanging around in the back a lot, talking to each other. We waited a long time for our drinks, food and check. They have great outside space.

We had been thinking of going for a while and finally made it. A lot of hype about a very ordinary place. The wine was in particular was overpriced for what seemed like a 4oz serving. Our waiter was excellent - friendly and attentive.

Was a bummer. Made a reservation 3 days in advance only to be seated in the covered patio area. The staff were friendly but may need some more training. Food was decent, drinks disappointing. Won’t be returning

We made a last-minute reservation and had a great meal. Our server and all of the staff were so nice and friendly. Especially love the gluten free pizza, it was superb!
