   Was the perfect night, staff were fully attentive and polite all round. Food and drinks arrived at a good pace and were some of the best weve had eating out. They finished our night off with a lovely rose for my partner and honestly topped off the perfect valentines night. Would highly recommend to anyone considering!

   Terrific innovative Indian food, exciting fkavours, exceptionally well blended and presented. Outstanding staff. An all round great experience and I would highly recommend it. We had a fabulous meal.

   We had a lovely evening at Essence and felt welcomed and at ease from the moment we arrived. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the food and the fact that it was a decent portion size. We shared two starters and two mains with rice. We found the overall price pretty reasonable and will be back to sample more on the menu! Essence is definitely a great asset to Tunbridge Wells!! Thank you for a fun evening!!

   The food and service are excellent and it fully justifies the premium paid. When booking, ensure you request a table within the restaurant area. The bar area has tables that are used for both drinks and dining and they are not the best for an enjoyable meal given the noise from the bar area, constant staff traffic and blasts of cold air every time the front door opens! This aside, highly recommended

    From the moment we stepped through the door the staff were attentive and welcoming. We had the set lunch menu and it was worth it! The food was beautifully spiced and the portions were perfect. I can recommend the Tigre chilli prawns. I chose the Lamb Biryani and it was a melt in the mouth explosion for spice and flavour. My husband had the seafood curry and it was just beautiful to look at and even better to eat. I would say it’s the best Indian cuisine around!
