    We found Essence to be a very relaxing and pleasant place to eat. The staff were welcoming, help, friendly and efficient.The excellent menu was varied yet not overpriced. We enjoyed all the amazing food - the flavouring in each dish was fantastic. Can’t wait to return!

    We loved this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the staff were polite and gracious without being insincere. I was recommended a couple of dishes by the waiter which were amazing and the other ladies in our party also loved their food. The restaurant was recommended by a friend but it still exceeded our expectations

    Very good food and service, and as it was my daughter's birthday the staff unexpectedly delivered a small and tasty birthday dessert plate.

    We had the 5 course festive tasting menu with accompanying wines. The food was delicious, service attentive and the wines worked well. We will definitely return.
