etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

The Iris Room can accommodate up to 12 guests; the Cardinal Room can accommodate up to 32 seated guests.     We have been to Etch in downtown Nashville many times and have always loved it. We were thrilled to discover that the Franklin location is just as wonderful. The entrees were very flavorful, the service was great and the ambiance was nice. We will definitely return.

    This was a five star experience for us. It began with the Etch salad, and the duck tart followed by the scallops and the pork tenderloin. We had a very nice bottle of Brunello. All in all, David, our server was outstanding and the experience was five stars

    Salad was awesome - both or our entrees were warm - not hot. I think they had beed sitting under a lamp for a while. We were both hungry and did not want to send back to have kitchen remake. Not sure if we will go back

    Hostess was welcoming; bartenders were great at answering questions before we sat for our meal; our server was attentive. Etch is our favorite downtown restaurant and it will continue to be our favorite new location. Great food, wine and spirits, and atmosphere to celebrate or meet with friends.

    Etch in Franklin was not for us….Our service was good but the food was subpar. My husband and i shared a filet which tasted more like a roast. The Caesar salad had horseradish in it which was a very odd flavor for the salad and the crispy potato salad dressing was very overpowering and not crispy at all. Probably wont be back.
