   It was a fairly average dinning experience but not aligned to their pricing when compared to other local upscale restaurants. The service was very slow and the food was uninspiring (felt like a decent cruise ship dinner). Nothing stood out and the staff seemed rather low energy and unhappy to be there. I’d likely not choose this over other options and would just say it wasn’t worth the hype. I was excited when they announced their Franklin launch location, but this experience was a miss for me.

   I made a reservation for weekend lunch, but when I arrived, there was only one table seated. We soon found out the lunch menu is VERY limited, two salads, two entrees, three appetizers (four if you count bread and butter as an app). The entree options were either a smash burger or cornmeal crusted catfish. Three of our five diners ordered the burgers, but were told they were out, as they sent all their burgers up to the Nashville location that morning. That made the already limited menu a non-starter for us and we opted to finish our mushroom tempura appetizer (delicious) and go. The waiter was very apologetic and came back to say that the chef had agreed to make us fried chicken sandwiches instead. None of us had asked for fried chicken, nor were in the mood for it, so we thanked him but declined the offer. We paid our check and on our way out the door the manager (who never engaged us before) called out, "Sorry we didn't have burgers!" Which was odd and made it sound like we were leaving because we were being picky. Um, sorry you don't have a complete lunchtime menu, or the ingredients to make what you do have on the menu! I'd still go back for dinner, as that menu is much more comprehensive and the food really is good. I just wish I had looked up the menu online before picking this spot to entertain out of town family, as it turned out to be a disappointment and an embarrassment.

   Service was excellent. Really liked the food presentation. We had a verity of dishes and everything was prepared perfectly.

   New and exciting to experience ETCH in franklin ! The building has wonderful ambiance However the smells of seafood dishes was an overwhelming hit upon entering ! Excellent food presentation and value

   Great job Deb and team! Amazing food and impeccable service. The shrimp & octopus bruschetta was one of the best dishes ever! Seating is a little tight, got bumped into all night. We'll be back, and probably at the counter next time.

   Great drinks and the appetizers were stellar. Service was perfect and the ambiance is nicely upscale. Love having this caliber of restaurant in Franklin!

   The new location in Franklin is top notch. From excellent service to food, we had a great experience overall. Great restaurant for a special occasion.

    Best scrambled eggs, potato salad, bacon, and coffee cake ever eaten in a restaurant. The server (David) was awesome. Will return and do recommend Etch!
