Great experience. Food was good , atmosphere was excellent. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the music. We sat in the bar and the music was so loud that everyone was shouting. Not a deal breaker but would be more enjoyable if it were a bit quieter.

Wonderful! Only reason not a five was the excessively high volume of music from live dj in such an intimate dining area in an already high energy/volume bar. Took away the intimacy and was incongruent with the quality of everything else. There was already plenty of fun hype and energy, but the music volume was overkill and more night club than the actual environment called for.

Horrible service. Horrible food for the price. Waited a long time for anything we ordered or even to get a refill. Waitress never did anything but mess up our order after giving us restrictions to ordering all at once. Not going back.

Had a reservation for my wife’s birthday. We spent $600 and they didn’t even bring out a cupcake with a candle on it. Why bother asking if it’s a special occasion? We arrived and were seated immediately. Beautiful setting. Way, way too loud for a dinner spot. We couldn’t talk to one another without a major struggle. Club level noise. The food is above average but the portions are outrageously small and beyond overpriced. $38 dollars for scampi with one shrimp? We didn’t even order certain things because they were so ridiculous. A few little meatballs for $25 bucks. We would have had to spend $75 to get 3 orders to even be satisfied. Also you can’t add protein to the salads. I would hesitate to go there again. No need for skimpy portions at those price points. $95 NY strip? Way more expensive than best steakhouses. Example it’s 30 more dollars than Eddie V’s next door which is way better. The restaurant is simply trying to take advantage of the wealth in Scottsdale in my opinion. Obnoxious combination of small portions and outrageous prices. Simply not worth it.

The DJ was a nice addition, but it’s very hard to have a conversation with the person across the table. Maybe turn the volume down to make conversation possible. This is dinner after all. We tried a slew of appetizers, which were mostly good taste wise. The problem is the cost in relation to how much food you get. For example, a Caesar salad, which is literally the size of a side salad, is close to $30. They had three scallops on a half a cup of beans, for $52. I wished them luck, after they run out of customers who were coming in because of inKind. The prices are not sustainable.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that this reopening has thought the owners anything. The food is still very overpriced, and it’s just Ok. $38 for a shrimp appetizer where it mentions in the description that it’s only 1 piece. That must be one amazing shrimp. Steak that is more expensive than a steakhouse. $18 mashed potatoes (which were very tasty, but still), $18 polenta with mushrooms, where there was a tablespoon of mushrooms and the polenta very grainy. Not sure if polenta should be al dente. Chicken Parmesan was too thin, on the dry side, and smothered in cheese. The spicy sauce with it was very good. The ambience was good, and the drinks good as well, but insufficient for a return visit with my family. If it wasn’t for the inKind app incentives, I wouldn’t go again.

We tried to order apps, were told we had to order all of our food at once and the server didn’t come back for 15 minutes. Entrees came out 10 minutes apart, we didn’t have steak knives to cut our meat and just wanted to get out of there towards the end. It took another 10-12 minutes to have them pack a desert to-go after we had paid. Just overall poorly managed and not worth the price. Music was so loud it’s hard to carry on a conversation & tables are crammed together so close.

New menu is so good! We had the focaccia, hamachi crudo, Cesar salad, filet, chicken and pasta. Only complaint is they had dj music blasting throughout the entire restaurant and it was hard to have a conversation!
