   Lovely as always. Really tasty Quiche Lorraine - and seriously good chips. Very nice glass of Rosè too. A very pleasant lunch.

   A dreadful experience. Not anything ‘French’ about this place. Food inferior. Cheap cut of meat and tough chicken skewers. Crab starter wet as soaked in watery dressing. Chips served to the table were still frozen inside. Nothing good to say about this experience.

   Barbara, We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, there are a few points that need to be clarified: * Our chicken is of Irish origin, free range and bought directly from the farm. * The chips are cut fresh (not frozen) and prepared by us every day with a double homemade cooking process. * The sauce that accompanies our crab is made fresh with cream, clarified butter and mussels, for a tasty, iodised base. We respect everyone's tastes, but we want to stand by the quality of our work and the constant commitment of our team to offer the best in terms of food and service. Regarding the statement that nothing at Excuse my French is French, that's the case, except for the wines, the food and the owners... Hope to see you again to change your mind.

I would encourage you to discuss this with the staff next time, as a dish takes 3 minutes to heat up so the serving temperature can be adjusted to your preference.    Gem of a neighbourhood restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was beautifully presented. Exciting to see different food offerings than the norm on a menu and the quality of food was exceptional.

   We have visited a few times and really enjoy this restaurant. You get fantastic advice on wine, with some unusual ones. The food is very French and so tasty. Such a friendly welcome too.

   A little bit of France in Ranelagh. Charming and helpful staff which portrays a lovely ambience. The food was delicious from starter (Chickpea Bonbons) to mains Pork in Mustard Sauce and Poulet Basquaise to dessert - Lemon Meringue. We had a very pleasant wine to wash it all down. I would highly recommend Excuse My French.
