   Gem of a neighbourhood restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was beautifully presented. Exciting to see different food offerings than the norm on a menu and the quality of food was exceptional.

   We have visited a few times and really enjoy this restaurant. You get fantastic advice on wine, with some unusual ones. The food is very French and so tasty. Such a friendly welcome too.

   A little bit of France in Ranelagh. Charming and helpful staff which portrays a lovely ambience. The food was delicious from starter (Chickpea Bonbons) to mains Pork in Mustard Sauce and Poulet Basquaise to dessert - Lemon Meringue. We had a very pleasant wine to wash it all down. I would highly recommend Excuse My French.

   Love this place! A great local restaurant. This was my fourth visit and I’ll be back. A corner of France in Ranelagh.

   Really nice experience - lovely room, friendly staff and gorgeous food. I want to go back for lunch on a sunny day and sit out on the terrace.

   Great evening with my wife, and local to us. Food was amazing. Was not ware of the Sunday Wine Promo, which was a touch. We had a splendid evening. Our waitress was great. Our bill was less than expected. Lovely evening. I'll try make it a monthly regular with my wife. High recommended.

   Nice restaurant and very attentive waiters. The wine and starters were excellent but our experience fell down on the main course which was over done and not very appetising.

   Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the wine, starters, and attentive service — it means a lot. The pork and beef you mentioned are both simmered, slow-cooked, deeply flavoured, and unapologetically rich. Not everyone's cup of tea, we get it, but definitely intentional. We would rather stand by bold flavours than play it safe. That said, we appreciate the honesty, and if you’re up for a second round, we’d be happy to show you what else our kitchen can do.
