Not a banner night. Poor Service, hurried staff, Muscles that were not cooked enough and a mishap with the "gas" in the kitchen, we waited 25 minutes just to order then was told we could not order any pasta and pizza was our best bet. Pizza was not what we wanted., and it came not cooked enough.

Mixed feelings. We went there on a Thursday evening. We made a reservation and got a table right away. Server was nice but we had to wait for each item. No bread served, waited 45 minutes for food to come out for 2 of us and another 5 minutes for third person then another 5 minutes for vegetable side dish. Our veal was overcooked (slightly burnt) but the dish was good. I am not sure this is the norm but I would be willing to eat there again. It has a nice ambiance and the dish was good (veal picatta) except for the meat. Tiramisu for desert was excellent.

When I called to make a reservation well in advance, I specifically requested one of the two tables on the back wall with the bench. My husband is hard of hearing, and having the back wall with no additional noise makes a huge difference for him to follow conversation. When we arrived we were given the first table at the door. I told the hostess of our reservation request and she said that the table, which was open at the time, was reserved for a party of five. Two of our party of four ordered pizza for dinner. This arrived. 3-5 minutes later the chicken Marsala arrived, then about 3-5 minutes later the salmon arrived. By then our pizza was cold. We are regular diners at F & D. All in all a very disappointing.

I used to love there, until i decided to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation and when i got there with ALL my guests, they didn't have a table, the restaurant was crowded and the hostess MARISSA treated us very bad "i can't control the time that people are eating" so, now i don't like this restaurant.

My husband and I are regulars at F &D, but it had been a couple months since we had been. We always have enjoyed excellent food, friendly service and great bar service. However on this visit we had a disappointing experience that I feel warrants to be shared. I brought my visiting brother, niece and nephews to enjoy dinner and drinks on their last night in FL as we have always enjoyed this restaurant. Unfortunately, an interaction with the manager left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. When a dirty martini was brought to our table and appeared only 3/4 full, we politely inquired about the discrepancy. The waitress agreed that it was short and took the drink away. Shortly after, the manager approached our table with the same drink and explained that Florida law limits how much can be poured into the glass, citing the size glassware is larger than other restaurants and that the drink is still “strong”. However, his tone and demeanor were dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational. We didn’t care if it was “strong”, we wanted a full drink. Other drinks that came out were filled to the top. His comment, “Do you want it or not?” felt unprofessional and rude. When we declined, he abruptly took the glass away without any attempt to resolve the situation or improve the experience. This interaction left us feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable, especially as I had brought my family here on their last night. We decided to have the waitress pack up our meals and leave I share this feedback not to criticize but because I truly valued our neighborhood restaurant and wanted to continue supporting it. I believe this situation could have been handled more graciously.

Food was good, noise level was pretty high, server was friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint was that this is the second visit in the past year where I've gone and been served a glass of Prosecco that was flat. My dining companion also got a glass of "sparkling" wine that was flat. Would love it if the bartender could figure out a way to preserve or take the time to open a new bottle… Especially at $10 a glass!
