   I love Thai cuisine, and this restaurant offers an exceptional menu with plenty of options. The food is delicious, and the drinks are especially well-crafted. The customer service is consistently excellent whenever I dine here, and the overall atmosphere is inviting and enjoyable. It’s truly one of my favorite dining spots in Portland!

   Overall this restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. The service was sparse. I ordered a drink that was described on the menu as "fruity, fizzy, sweet" and when I got my drink it was incredibly bitter, and not fizzy at all. I asked our server about it and she kept insisting that it was the correct drink. I asked if I could switch it out for something else and she begrudgingly agreed. We asked about the spice level on one dish we ordered and the server said it was medium spice. We asked if the spice could be adjusted at all and she said she could leave off the chili oil. It still came out incredibly spicy to the level we did not enjoy (the very pricey) dish. The food felt overpriced, especially considering we were sat a table that was literally a folding card table that kept falling and had to be fixed by us several times throughout the meal.

   The food is fusion Thai cuisine which is nice for a change from average Thai food we find in Portland, emphasizing on Southern Thai cuisine so it has some Malaysian influence such as roti (type of Indian flatbread ) and rice salad. We enjoyed the spicy fish dish, samosa, rice salad and the braised short rib in Panang curry. Will go back again!

   What a wonderful surprise! Kitchen Farmhouse Thai Cuisine was not what we expected at all: It was so much better! Every dish was beautiful, not just the food but the eclectic dishes themselves. (Give the pineapple rice a go You won't be sorry.) Our server was friendly and kind and paid attention to the allergies among us. Our party of four loved the ambience of the space. All the flowers, the smells, and the general happiness that flowed through the dining room. Will 100% be back.

   The prices here are pretty high for Thai food, but the place came recommended so I came to check it out. The food was good and I enjoyed the Khao Soi, but I'm guessing the prices are for the neighborhood.

    Farmhouse Thai was delicious. They have some unique dishes I've never seen at another Thai restaurant. Be warned, they don't have very many typical dishes either. Couldn't get traditional Pad Thai the day we went, just Lobster Pad Thai for $39. My daughter kept commenting on the TV screen she was facing that showed dishes being prepared and people eating fried larvae, which she said was not very appetizing to be looking at. Attention service, nice wait staff.
