   Local American. Ambiance, Service, Food all a cut (several cuts) above the usual. Probably not worth a special trip but if you’re in the area definitely worth a visit (or 2, or 3). Host/Owner especially warm and welcoming.

   The dining room is loud and brightly lit, peopled with a young crowd, so we chose to sit in the more intimate, low lit area by the kitchen. It was like being in the series The Bear. The head chef was loudly calling out orders to the kitchen staff. It was entertaining to see them, preparing the food. The service was great and food exceptional. We had Lion’s mane and various mushrooms with fingerling potatoes and herbs, which was flavorful and comforting. This is a foodie restaurant that combines unexpected ingredients in a unique & delicious way. There are many dishes with multiple ingredients, you can order and share, one after the other. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you know in detail what you’re ordering. They do not rush you. We had squash blossoms, which my boyfriend loved. For me, the addition of honey was a negative, but it had a nice little kick of jalapeño. The Cobia, a clean fish, sourced from a superior vendor, was tender & delightful, served with tender carrots, English peas, and a light curry. We were full after those three dishes and did not order dessert. We like this restaurant a lot and will be returning.

   Completely ruined my New Year’s Eve. I made a top 3 list of the best restaurants in Palm Beach, considering the most attractive menu, reviews, ambiance, and price for our New Year’s Eve dinner. We chose Fern because of their prix fixe menu. We were dying to try the Key West Shrimp for starters, my boyfriend’s favorite fish, Tilefish, for the main course, and they had two dessert options we both loved. We arrived half an hour before our reservation to have some drinks at the bar, and it was pure chaos. The music was so loud you could barely hear your thoughts, and the staff looked visibly frustrated. We got our table on time, and then the disaster began. They were out of the shrimp appetizer, which was clearly the highlight of the menu. They changed the fish in the main course. My boyfriend ordered it anyway, but the combination was so random he couldn’t eat it. They were completely out of desserts and tried to push a single cheesecake for us to share or a Sangria as a substitute. And let’s not even get started on the fact that they didn’t even offer a cheap Prosecco for a midnight toast. The waitress was a sweetheart—I felt so bad for being rude to her—but this was a special occasion, and they completely ruined it. The manager came over and offered $10 off, which was laughable given the situation, and acted like I was overreacting for being upset that they didn’t deliver what they advertised. In the end, they comped all our drinks, which I appreciated, but it didn’t fix the frustrating experience. If you’re planning to go there for a special occasion and they’re offering a prix fixe menu, have a backup reservation ready.

   Delicious and high quality, with strong ethics around the food. There is thought put into every detail. I’ll just say that i found the very basic prep of the steaks to be a bit lack luster— simple prep of steak and veg, just salt and oil, but for the price, it needs a little more razzle dazzle. You’re paying for quality though, which you can feel, but not always taste. The cocktails were refreshing and high quality, delicious and smooth. Best espresso martini in a while.

   This farm-to-table restaurant is a hidden gem. Staff were super friendly and the service was excellent. We started with the mushroom appetizer (amazing) then had the American Red Snapper dish and the linguine truffle dish, both of which were delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. And it was fun to have a wine flight to pair different wines with the dishes. I would highly recommend.

   Truly wonderful “French” bistro (Palm Beach version). Very pretty ambience, unique, well prepared food, romantic. All in all, very pleased Really deserves 5 stars (travel out of your way to go) but messed up food order (never served entrees) so we’ll keep it at 4 for time being. Definitely will be back. Probably give 5th star at that time.

    The service,vibe,and food were all top knotch could not have asked for a better meal...they have so many options no matter what your dietary restrictions are just delicious..
