We were delighted with this bar type restaurant looking out over the sea in Ullapool. I tried the oysters to start and they were perfect. I would go back just for that! The desserts were delicious although at £8.00 maybe a little pricey and there was plenty of choice. My friends were happy with their mains. A hugh bowl of mussels and a hit smoked salmon salad. I chose the mackerel salad but was disappointed. Too many potatoes, not enough mackerel. Although it was tasty enough. At over £30 per person, including drinks, it was an enjoyable meal. Would recommend.

The view here is great. The service was excellent. I had fish and chips, my travel partner had the curried lentil soup. Both were fantastic. We booked a table when we booked our room, and don’t regret for a second that we ate where we stayed. The food was really good. I would absolutely eat here again. The beer list was good too!

This was not what we expected. The food was great, but the table was in the crowded bar

We enjoyed two meals here the second with lovely local langoustines. But the obvious local problems of lack of staff meant that we only ate in the bar area. Beside the fine local fish the rest of the menu was rather pub grub.

Good hearty food reasonably priced but the interior is in need of refurbishment. Staff were pleasant and efficient, compliments to the chef.
