   The appetizers and main dishes were superb. Properly cooked, served hot with large portions, and fresh fish and meat products. Lobster bisque appetizer had substantial taste and serving portion. Lobster, shrimp, and grits main course was 9.5 out of 10. One of the best I have tasted in years. The grits were not served as traditional white but had a zesty Cajun wine flavor that was not overly "hot" to the tastebuds. The branzino fish was light and flaky with a delicate, slightly sweet taste that complemented tasty green beans and mashed potatoes. The steak dinners were equally tasty and filling. Some might consider the pricing a bit high, but in the current economic environment the high quality of the dinner was consistent with the pricing you would expect at comparable high-end restaurants. The atmosphere was wonderful: peaceful, easy to talk and hear one another, with beautiful outdoor scenery and indoor lighting. The servers were attentive and always helpful. It was a great post holiday opportunity to enjoy a memorable family experience. I drove a 100 miles from Raleigh for this dinner and would do it again without a second thought for the food and service experience. Congrats to the entire Finial Restaurant for creating a great dining atmosphere and experience.

   Food and service were good. Buffet could have more options for 27 dollars (only 5 to 6 items)but the food was good.My wife had the Buffet i ordered off the menu.

   It's just breakfast now ..not what it use to be for Sunday Buffet. I will not drive this distance anymore just for breakfast - nothing fancy, just a regular breakfast.

   Always a great meal at Finial. Staff is wonderful. I had the filet with asparagus and mashed potatoes with a Jamestown Fog to drink. My boyfriend had the Carolina Chicken and loved it. He had one of the seasonal holiday drinks, some type of maple Manhattan, and it was delicious, and very sweet. Can't wait to go back again for another special occasion.

   My husband and I went to Finial for our 5th Anniversary dinner. From the moment we were sat at our table, we had phenomenal service. Our server was energetic and funny. He had great recommendations for each course. My husband had the Lobster Bisque to start with and then the Lobster, Shrimp and Grits for his entree. I had the (Furniture) Market Salad and then the Bronzini and “Shell”. Our server recommended getting the cornbread starter to go with our meal and it was an excellent recommendation. We finished the night with the Mocha Crème Brûlée. Everything was great and we had no complaints about anything we ate.

   I would give them 10 stars if I could!! The service, food, ambience was exceptional. Excellent spot for birthdays, anniversaries, engagements etc.

   This was our first time at Finial Restaurant. We were not disappointed. The service was great. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasurable. We would not hesitate to come back.

   We had a wonderful Christmas Eve/Birthday dinner. Both the food and service was excellent. Our server was new and stated that up front and we were more than happy to help him with his learning curve. He was actually great and has a great future ahead of him. We will definitely come back as we are moving to the area in 2025.

    Our food took one hour to arrive after ordering. Unfortunately, the lobster bisque was nearly inedible. Neither my husband nor I liked it. The poached pear salad was fine. My husband’s shrimp and lobster grits were top notch and my son said his filet was excellent too. So a mix on the food. They do not bring bread before your meal so you may need an appetizer to tide you over while you wait an hour for your food to arrive. It is a gorgeous venue. Our server was very apologetic about the one hour wait for our food but she did not offer any price reduction or free dessert etc. it seemed like food was making it out to the bar really quickly so that may be the secret —sit at the bar!
