   This firebirds seems a little older or at least not as well kept. We got a pair of Filets-both were excellent along with the AuGratin Potatoes and Port Mushrooms. Server was poor. Took long time to come to our table and equally long to bring our drinks. Never offered or brought bread until we asked for it (even though other tables sat after us with different servers had bread)-we finally received ours a few minutes before our meal. Late followup after food was delivered and wife never received a drink refill even though her glass was clearly low.

   We dined on Sunday, November 17, 2024 around lunch time. It took FOREVER to get our drinks (at least 25 minutes after we ordered them and we watched as other tables got theirs right away). Then our server kept promising that our food would be right out and it took almost an hour to get our food. Luckily, we ordered our 4 year old's meal before ours because she was starving. I asked my steak to be medium well. It was pretty red in the center. I didn't say anything because it took so long to get my food, I was afraid we'd be there another hour. A tradition of ours is to attend Firebird's once per month after Church as a family and this experience was awful! The service was super slow which ruined our experience this time.

   Staff was incredible, the food was amazing, and the area we were sitting was quiet enough to hold a conversation and not have to raise our voices. Waitress helped us pick a few of our menu options and her suggestions really hit the mark. Worth the price, definitely!

   We were there for the Veterans Day special. Tanner went above and beyond as our server. We instantly connected with him as it was later in the evening and we were about the same age. He provided excellent recommendations and even brought me a complimentary birthday dessert. We for sure will return. Thank you Firebirds for your generosity and Tanner for your great hospitality.

   Busy evening on Veterans Day! They offer a wonderful free entree to the Veteran which was delicious and so appreciated! We go every year as a military family!
