We have been going to Fishbones since they opened many years ago. We were just there last week and I commented on the staying power of this place. Food is unique and well prepared. Not sure how someone could say it is overpriced like in another review. Half of the menu items are offered on Thursday for $10. If your on a budget and want great food, go on Thursday I guess. Service is always friendly and the Menu unique compared to most local restaurants. My favorites are the Norwegian Salmon Strudel and the Rajun Cajun Pasta. The Ravioli is also excellent and a favorite of my wife. In addition they have their Loco Bones menu which features Mexican fare, a salute to Jessie's heritage. The Blackened Crayfish Enchiladas are awesome. It can get a bit on the louder side at times but that is because people are having fun. Cocktails are priced about mid range but are well poured and worth it. A solid selection of craft beers are available on tap.

Cajun food lite. Greens ( real ones) should be offered with pepper vinegar. Very over-priced. App was decent. The special was a red fish with a cajun gravy? Made with Guinness. You could taste the flour. The roux was not darkend enough and the flavors were not married well. Grouper po boy was decent.
