Fiume opened in 2013 and is located in Compton, Owners Stefano and Carla welcome you to enjoy quality, modern interpretations of classic dishes inspired by their home regions of Sardinia and Basilicata.

As Italians we are passionate about everything we do and food and drink are hugely important to our culture as we meet with friends and family to enjoy our time together. At Fiume you will experience a little of this culture as we share it with you. We provide authentic Italian cuisine with a southern Italian influence and a fresh twist.

We are proud to be an independent, family-run, Italian bar and restaurant offering you a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere. During the good weather, you can also dine alfresco whilst watching the passing canal boats and your family dog can watch with you too.

Our sensational sparkling 3 course set menu is available all day, from Salmon filled Profiteroles to Prime fillet steak and our Classic tiramisu. there is something for everyone to indulge in on the last day off the year. Please note, our set menu is the only menu available from 4.30pm. Or why not join us in the day where you can dine off our a la carte menu until 4.30pm.     Another perfect evening at our favourite restaurant. Only this time my partner tried the steak and his words exactly were "this is the best steak I've ever eaten". I had my usual a pasta dish which again was cooked to perfection . I will always recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

    Always amazing food and service. Even though the restaurant is fully booked, the staff are always attentive and cannot do enough for you. Highly recommend

    Always try and go when want a local restaurant whose food and service is probably the best around here. Always friendly great service and the most important of all truly delicious food, have not had time to visit as much as would like but will try and get here much more often, favourite go to restaurant, and eat to understand why so highly rated

    Great night Thursday dec 24. Table for two. Place was packed and very noisy but it is nearing Xmas. A bit drafty by the window. Food was excellent and great service considering they were so busy. Nowhere to sit and wait for our table but we were a bit early and it was made available at the time we had booked. We will Be going back 👍

    The meal was delicious. The sharing starter for 4 would have fed 8 so we had a big doggy bag and struggled with the mains but managed a sweet because it was my birthday. Great time had although felt a bit rushed as they had People waiting for a table and felt a little uncomfortable with the looks we received
