   We were a party of two couples and the 2 ladies of the group ordered the burger. It was nothing to write home about but it was OK and a decent portion size. The men both had the Sea bass off of the specials board - their meal was a piece of fish and a small portion of cous cous and looked pathetic when it arrived and certainly not a proper meal size though it was priced as such. Unfortunately we were there on the 3rd Friday which meant there was live music. I use this term loosely but it was absolute bliss when they stopped for a far too short break and you could once again hear yourself think and what the person on the other side of the table was saying. Two of the party had dessert (the men because they were still hungry) but there wasn’t a great choice. My latte was absolutely delicious and was quite exciting because it was so good. We did ask if we could have a discount because of the music but the waitress laughed and said we were in the line of fire. It was an expensive evening only made enjoyable by good company and an excellent latte. Will not be going back.

   If you want excellent food, good value, lovely friendly helpful, welcoming staff and plenty of parking space, look no further! I usually do a 9 mile (return) walk from home with my dog (these are also welcome) for a regular lunch booking with a friend every few weeks but I have occasionally driven there with other guests and this establishment is consistent in perfection, as far as the service and food that are offered and has plenty of room for cars. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Kevin 👍🙂

    Great pub atmosphere but although they cater for vegans they don’t serve vegan wine by the glass ? They had one white wine but I was looking forward to a glass of red. Really should consider having vegan wines. There is no difference to the taste and it’s saving a life of an animal, it’s sustainable and all goes to stop the violent jobs in slaughterhouses many men have to endure.
