   It’s hard to define this charming restaurant. It looks like an ordinary high st cafe but the menu is distinctly foodie with some tasty starters and mains which you can mix to your preference. The staff are delightful and know the dishes and ingredients very well. There’s a nice buzz to the place and we were there for over 3 hours today with no pressure to give back the table. We’ll definitely revisit.

   Lunch menu today was great .not hurried had time to chat over lunch & drinks Lovely food Good service not constantly interupted Could have been a tad warmer in the restaurant it was a wee bit chilly

   Both servers were friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes, answered all our questions relating to gluten free and vegetarian options. I really enjoyed the pork tenderloin, perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were individually very tasty and complimented the pork really well. My companion said the roasted pumpkin was good, but I thought it looked a little insubstantial

   The food in this restaurant is just out of this world. Prepared with local ingredients and made simple and sophisticated at the same time. As an example, I ate quince in a salad, which I never did before and I wasn't even aware of that possibility. It was fantastic. The service was also great. Always available but not annoying, perfectly balanced. Will come back. Thanks

   Have been to this restaurant before. The food is excellent. Great menu choices. Service is efficient. There's plenty of local parking so access is very good.

   We have been here twice now and absolutely love it! Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and great atmosphere, cannot fault it!

   We arrived on a rather dank Thursday buy out welcome was lovely and warm. My friend and I were having a cheeky Christmas get-away ahead of all that cooking! A splendid non-alcoholic cocktail arrived followed by a series of small plates and finishing with a great pot of English Breakfast tea. Wonderful lunch and thoroughly recommended. Really interesting cooking. Thank you

    Just a wonderful experience. Coffee is great, fresh mint tea is great, service is outstanding and food is absolutely delicious. We love that it is local and we love this place.
