   My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Five last night. We decided to have small plates by selecting a few different shareables with our server Bridgett's help. She was delightful and provided attentive and responsive service throughout. When the cornbread skillet was not quite up to her standards she replaced it on her own initiative. All of the dishes were superb. She even brought out a card signed by several of the staff. The dining room was not crowned on a Tuesday night. Definitely worth a return trip!

   The grounds and facility is beautiful. The service was very good. Was only able to reserve a high table but sakes for the main dining room if a table opened up. Since it was our Anniversary they called day of and said they had an opening in main dining room and since it was our anniversary offered it to us .very much appreciated. Steaks were delicious. Service was very attentive. Complimentary dessert and card for anniversary. Would definitely recommend.

   Went for our anniversary and were surprised with a beautiful card from the staff and an excellent meal. My husband loved the steak and I found the trout to be delicious. We can't wait to return and try more from the menu this summer. Thank you for making our experience so memorable.

   We were promptly seated at our reservation time but had to wait a bit to be welcomed by our waitress. After initially declining drinks we did order some along with appetizers. When drinks came we ordered entrees. Food was very slow to come out, but was very good. Waited a very long time after entrees to be offered dessert which we did order as this was a graduation celebration. No other drinks were ordered. Overall it took 3 hours for a meal for 5 people. Other parties were much larger and seemed to get better attention, especially by the manager.

   We had a later dinner reservation, most other people had been served in the restaurant. Our server seemed slow, but effective and polite. However, after a slow start, it went even slower. Took an hour after ordering to receive our food. Food quality didn’t hold up base on several other past visits. One entry, took an extra 15 minutes to be served, we waited for the last entry to be served, so others had cold food.

   I really enjoy eating at Five. The lounge and patio can be noisy so I usually sit in the dining room which is quieter. “Old” John and Emma provided great service. Lobster tail and desserts were superb at our pre-Easter dinner.

   Wonderful food. Friendly service. Charming restaurant. Bar is lively in the front but only somewhat noisy in the back. Well worth a visit!
