Made a specific request that my husband’s birthday be acknowledged. It never happened. They wouldn’t even seat him until I was physically there. I went to park in walking distance of the restaurant. Food was served to me but not my husband until 10 minutes later. Server was not attentive.

Great service! I have had the opportunity to try this one in LA and also the one in Detroit! Both have great food and service! The employees are amazing!

Grrrrllll...food was very good. Started with hot cornbread muffins with cinnamon butter. Yummy. They were slightly sweet, large and moist. Hubby had oxtails, collard greens and mac n cheese as sides. Oxtails (3 thick ones) were tender and au jus was flavorful. The smothered chicken, collard greens and charred okra were soooo similar to my own dishes. Entrees were nice size too. Restrooms were clean and tidy. Wall art was a mix of food brands from days of old. Our waitress was upbeat attentive and smiled genuinely, Corey.. However, the other waitstaff rarely smiled. Price of meal was less than $70! We were shocked and pleased. Ohhhh, the bartender, Dzhari was nice. Inviting and answered my fifty-11 questions about the establishment. Unless you enjoy waiting, be warned...make a reservation. What are you waiting on??? IT'S A VIBE😉❤

The food is really good. I will definitely be coming back however one thing you should know is that reservations don’t mean much at this place we had reservations and still had to wait for like 30 minutes before we were seated so do not come there if you’re on a time crunch specially during maybe busier days like the weekends Expecting to be seated immediately when you have a reservation cause more likely you’re probably gonna have to wait.

Eating at Fixins has become a tradition for us when going to LA. We love the food and the ambiance. The staff is always great. They are very welcoming and fast with our order. We highly recommend Fixins.

I had such an awesome experience here. My party ended up being way bigger than expected and they accommodated. The service was impeccable and the food was good as usual.
