Flames is a Brazilian Steakhouse, located at the heart of Main St in Belmar, that features an all you can eat experience including hot savory traditional Brazilian dishes, plus a signature Gourmet Salad Bar, signed by Cordon Bleu Chef Joao Euzebio, followed by a large variety of tasteful cuts of beef, chicken, pork & lamb, served table side to your liking. At Flames Brazilian Steakhouse we are proud to serve the authentic Brazilian “Churrasco” where different tender cuts meat seasoned and roasted to perfection are brought to you, one at at time, by our Gauchos in large vertical skewers. Show time starts when you flip your token to the green side, indicating you are ready for the surprise. The salad bar isn’t great. They definitely serve instant mashed potatoes. They didn’t have 12 meats in rotation like they advertised. We were dying of thirst and had full plates of food before our drinks arrived. We saw the sever twice the entire night and couldn’t find him anywhere. I don’t think anyone ate $60 worth of food. There are much nicer places in Belmar where you can get a better meal for $60/person and better service.

Service was the great. Polite, friendly and attentive. Without being intrusive. Food was mediocre at best. Most beef cuts were tough and all the meat skewers were exceptionally salty. Ribs and bottom sirloin were probably the best of the bunch. The deserts and grillled pineapple were all good. There are better horizons to go to. Feel bad it is a mostly negative review as the service was great

The meal was absolutely delicious. Having the meat come around to you is a fun experience. The salad bar also delighted us! Don’t forget to grab a small cup to put the chimichurri sauce and the horseradish dip in for your meat!

Service very good. Meat very good. Salad bar food super salty. Salad bar signs hard to read. Salad bar not replenished or kept neat enough.If you do not eat meat or fish, not worth going. For meat eaters it’s a bargain especially if you go Monday-Thursday.

Our family met there to celebrate a birthday and we had an amazing meal, great service - which made the evening so much fun. Absolutely gorgeous buffet bar in addition to perfectly cooked meats.

Got there and the food in the cold and hot bar were pretty much out and definitely were sitting there for a WHILE. Granted we had a late dinner but for a steakhouse there should really be no excuses. All of the cuts of meat they brought were VERY SALTY, to the point where I really could only barely enjoy them before deciding to leave. I’ll go to Fogo De Chao next time—it’s the same price.
