For the upscale restaurant Flavorture present itself to be, I’m not sure i received that experience. I’ll explain what it was like from door to check. Had a reservation for 9:30p, i arrived about 9:35p (they give a 15 min grace period. When i arrived the host wasn’t at the door so no one greeted us upon entry. We went to the bar to find out how to get a table and then the hostess appeared. However, our table was not yet ready. After waiting about 15-20 minutes we finally were seated. Our waiter came, he was a nice guy but something was a little off because he was speaking as if serving us was a secret. But anyway. We gave our drink orders but our drinks never came so after about a half hour of sitting he finally came back to ask what our food order was and says he never got our drink orders even though we did, a pink moscato and a Mule (both great btw.) i did ask for complementary shots but he did order champagne which was fine for the quality of service we were receiving so far. Now it’s about 10:45 and our food was finally coming out (again, our reservation was at 9:30) my lady had lamb chops which she said were good but seemed over cooked (medium well) and i had the salmon which was definitely overcooked with brown rice. We had truffle mash and broccolini for sides. I give the food a 6/10, honestly nothing special for the price. However the appetizer oysters were good. Getting the check was quick lol. But whatever. If i had to give this place an opinion, go for the vibes and not so much the food. The drinks were cool too but that’s just my take. I wouldn’t call this place upscale because the service just doesn’t represent that of an upscale place.

The food was good but when it got to our table it wasn't hot. For us to be the customers at the table when they first open & about four customers at the bar is no excuse for it not to be hot. We may try them again.

This restaurant is worth a visit. However, I felt like the chairs sat lower than the table which was a little uncomfortable. The food was good, nothing superior to rave snout, but good. Portions also small for the money. The service was great, which always makes a difference. So as I states, definitely worth a try.

The food portion and quality does not price. Majority of the meals I tried were mediocre along with the decor. (High top tables are way too high for those chairs) Don’t waste your money or time.

Food took a long time, glasses weren’t polished lots of water stains and lip residue from previous patrons. Fish was possibly frozen, fish and grits portion was very small for the price point. Nice aesthetic. Flavors could bee pushed a lil further.

My second time there and the food did not disappoint. Amazing food and drinks. The vibe was lovely of course. Service was better my first time but that’s because they were very busy the second time I went but the service was still very good.

Great staff, delicious wedge salad, select standard seating and request dining room as opposed to bar area because of noise, music bass, and Sports Channel TVs in Bar Area.

This is an amazing restaurant! I came in for a conference & wanted to make sure I supported locally so I chose this place for our team dinner. Every single thing we tasted was truly delicious! We had the table bread which melts in your mouth, Chesapeake oysters, fried chicken with collards, crab fried rice, braised short ribs, Mac n cheese & a wedge salad. Desert was the peach cobbler bread pudding. I'm sad I don't live anywhere near here but will definitely make sure I make reservations again on my next trip. I also should've taken more food pics.

Wonderful meal, but extremely loud. Avoid Thursday evenings unless you enjoy karaoke and very loud music.
