   Overall the food was very good. Salad station was delicious and flavorful and what you would expect at Fogo. The problem was the service. Not very attentive. Forgetting to bring drinks, meat cravers slow. There was only three on our party. It was early Sunday night so I’m not sure if that was a reason. This was downtown Dallas. The Addison location is much more on point.

   The food was good, when we were actually able to get it. I don’t know if it was where we were seated since we were against the wall, but we had to ask multiple times to have people bring over different meats to offer us. We sat 10 min between offerings.

   By far the worst service and food I’ve had in my life. I’ve had to get all my plates on my own didn’t see my server once. I brought the attention up to the manager on duty and he was very respectful and polite, he was the only reason why I stayed and try to enjoy my time but the food was just not as good as I remembered. I hate to say this but I wouldn’t recommend.

   It wasn’t what I expected from Fogo de Chao. I have been to 2 other locations and the one at Legacy West is much better. It was just the vibes there I guess. At the uptown location; The bread and honey cheese was what I was looking forward to and the honey cheese was so good but the bread was very chewy and felt like it wasnt cooked all the way. It just didn’t feel like I made a right choice to have my birthday dinner there. It would have been better and cheaper at Texas Roadhouse.

   We've been to this location several times and normally the experience is incredible. On this Monday before the New Years... not so much. It started with a market table that was out of several options (and had hair in a few others). Our meat service was inconsistent: even though we were asked several times if we wanted more of something, those particular meats never returned. Our waitress seemed to be confused by both the beer and the wine lists. Towards the end of the evening, there seemed to be some confusion as to who was taking care of our table and whether or not we would receive a tab. Overall it felt like we arrived on a lacking training night rather than getting the full Fogo experience. That being said, the grilled cheese was amazing, the filet wrapped in bacon a crowd favorite as always, and many of the meats were as delicious as we remember. The experience from the staff, however, could be much appreciated. We'll be back, but we will probably try Texas de Brazil or another location before we return.

   I wish I could give a glowing, perfect review of Fogo Uptown. It was good, but not great. We came for an early dinner around 5:30pm and the salad area looked like it hadn’t been refreshed for a while. The last time we came, the salad area was perfect. The waiter was amazing and friendly. He really took care of us. The meat service was good. The meat kept coming. The highlight for me was the lamb with the mint jelly! Our first taste of filet was amazing. We asked for more filet later and waited about thirty minutes! When we waited out the filet, it was fatty and tough, not much good meat there. While we liked Fogo, enough wasn’t perfect at the Uptown location to return. We might try another Fogo location in the Dallas area.

   Off night. Horrible service, waited every 10 minutes for meats to come out, had to keep asking for refills and meat wasn’t even seasoned?!? Atypical for Fogo brand…needs new management as everything was off. Dirty plates, potato salad dry and chicken was dry and hard. Wanted to order dessert but didn’t given how disappointing the experience was, especially for $200

    I had a reservation for 5:30. I didn’t get sat until 6:45. My server seemed tired and was not very helpful. I asked for mint jelly and never got it. I had to ask for horseradish 3 times before I got it. By the time I got it, my mom’s food was cold. The wine tasted like it had been open for a long time. The meat was often well done or very rare. The salad bar was messy. I have been to other restaurants like this where the entirety of the experience was better. The cheese bread was awesome. Pecanha was great. My sister got a chocolate lava cake on the house for her birthday. (The busser set it down and then asked her if she wanted him to light the candle 🤦🏼‍♂️). Some of the guys serving the meat were very kind, and worked hard to help me out. One new guy from Venezuela was exceptional. Outside of a couple guys, I was unimpressed for my first visit. I will not come back.
