Great luncheon today. Lots of menu choices for winter warmers. I had the beef stew. Tender and tasted great, with a small salad and some bread. Just the right size portions, not to big and not to small. My wife had the chicken stew, and equally as satisfying. Our server was very attentive. We've been here before-sometimes good, sometimes not so much- and this is the best experience we've ever had.

Great experience! We came right before lunch so half our party ordered breakfast and the others ordered lunch- the staff was amicable to that. Great service, great environment. Highly recommend.

Made reservations and were even sat early. Our server was great. The food on the other had left a lot to be desired. I ordered the shaved pastrami and my wife ordered the Prime Rib dip without onions. Our server came back to inform me that they had just run out of the shaved pastrami so I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. When our orders came out they were cold. The broccoli was so cold the cheese wasn't even melted and the Prime Rib Dip came out with onions and the Au Jus was solid it was so cold. Our server rectified the situation and finally brought back food that was warmer and edible. The drinks were delish but won't be rushing back here for an $18 grilled cheese and tomato soup.

The service was nice but the value of food for what it get, not worth it. $11 for a side of fries? Just did not think the amount and quality of food matched the prices.

There was not a single thing we put in our mouth that wasn’t top notch. The coffee was wonderful, the soda made in restaurant was much better than expected, and the food was outstanding. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about our experience!

I have dined at Founding Farmers for years. I always like to get the fried chicken salad but I don’t like honey mustard. Every time I get it, I always request the dressing on the side. Last night was the third time I have tried to order this salad with the dressing on the side and it never comes like I ask. I have put up with other issues like ordering the pot roast only for the plate and gravy to be hot but the meat is cold, or the $7.00 biscuits were hard as a rock. There are better places in DC for sure but I can’t understand why I can’t get a salad with no dressing on it.

Thank you for your honest feedback and for being a loyal guest over the years, Lincoln. We are truly sorry for the repeated issues with your orders and your overall experience. This doesn’t reflect the standard we aim to provide. We’ll address this with our team to ensure special requests are handled correctly. Your input is valuable, and we hope you’ll give us the chance to do better in the future. -Kerry

The food was not good at all. My friend got chicken with waffles and it came with 1/4 a waffle, chicken that wasn’t fried well, and mac & cheese with green beans. 1/10. My food was a grilled cheese and a tomato soup. That was a 3/10. All in all will not recommend.
