In 1974, George and his wife Joan ventured out to what was then considered the country. They found the perfect location on the shores of Diamond Lake. A great deal has changed since then, but our commitment to service and great food hasn’t. We welcome you to visit and see what’s new. It’s the Gale Street you love and remember with a more comfortable and updated atmosphere.     We had a very nice evening and fantastic service. The food is always very good. Everyone enjoyed the calamari appetizer and dinners were great - I had the prime rib, and others enjoyed Whitefish, chicken parmigiana and pasta vodka. Desserts topped off the night with pumpkin cheesecake and the flourless chocolate cake. Thank you

    Everything from start to finish was amazing. The food is so fresh and delicious . Soup was to die for. I will be going back there very soon

    We were thinking the food would be the same as the Gale Street Inn in the city but not at all. The ribs which they are known for were not half as good as in the city. The rest of the food was very good and a friend had one of there specials which he said was excellent. I would go back just not for ribs!

    Good food and friendly, excellent service. Very pleasant dining room with wall to wall windows and a big fireplace. Onion soup and soup of the day tasty and served hot. Fresh salads. My wedge salad was good but overdressed. I will ask for dressing on the side next time. Lamb lollipops meaty and well prepared, an especially good value I thought. My companions ordered ribs. We were there on a week night and it was quiet, can't say about the noise levels when the restaurant is full.
