We went there specifically for the veal parm and we were disappointed to find out that it was pressed veal and not an actual cutlet. Kudos to the waiter, though, because when asked he told the truth. The lasagne was delicious but the chicken Marsala was not. The chicken was thick instead of cut thin as it should have been. The sauce was beef based. Not what was expected. Not a very tasty dish. Deserts were excellent as was the service. Might go back if in the mood for lasagne. Not much else on the menu tempted me.Is this helpful?

Great food and excellent service. However, the live music was incredibly loud! It was so hard to hear the people next to us that we were yelling. When the singer took a break, we all took a deep breath so we could hear each other. The restaurant was lively enough that the live singer/pianist was not necessary.Is this helpful?

The staff was very kind but we did feel rush through our meal, even though there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. The calamari appetizer was delicious, but half the portion was peppers and not squid. We all got pasta dishes and all of them were delicious, but swimming in sauce. Overall, the experience was ok, probably better for lunch or happy hour than dinner.Is this helpful?

There were four of us and we had a perfectly mediocre experience which was disappointing since our prior dining experiences at the Waugh Chapel location were quite good. The portion size was exceptionally and unnecessarily large. For example, my pappardelle with bolognese sauce would have been so much better with less pasta so that I could actually taste the sauce. Since the pasta overwhelmed the sauce, it’s hard to have an opinion about whether the sauce was good or not. The Caesar salads had too much dressing and the dressing was ordinary. The added anchovies that we requested were scant and flavorless. The highlight of our meal was our cappuccinos and bombe ice cream dessert. We had been scheduled to return for our daughter’s birthday dinner but are now rethinking those plans.Is this helpful?

We’ve been to Galliano’s several times and the food is always excellent. I particularly like the shrimp scampi myself. Noise level can make it difficult to converse sometimes but I would still recommend highly.Is this helpful?
