Apologies for any confusion with the wine — we typically serve our premium wines by the glass in a larger glass to enhance the experience. It’s possible that for your second pour, we ran out of the larger glassware and used a smaller one, but the pour itself should have been the same at 150ml. Great food, great vibe, let down by poor service by staff who were abrupt and “too busy” to take a family photo at the end of our meal.

Booked online, at first I was confused with the time slot that was available. On arrival the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. However the food & service soon made up for the time slot.

A sad Christmas dinner experience. We go to Garfish at Crows Nest regularly and really like it. Last night was a one off disappointment. My wife and I both had snapper. It was inedible. It was not fresh. We could hardly cut it with the knife and the texture was like rubber and dry. Just awful. We were there with guests so didn’t make a fuss but it truly felt like rubbery chewing gum. We will still go back and try again because it’s usually great. Can’t help but feel maybe its Christmas time and they ran out of the snapper and microwaved some frozen fillets. Honestly can’t convey how bad it was. Sorry for writing this review. Hate being negative but just have to put it out there.

Fresh, perfectly cooked sea food. The fruits de mer platter was outstanding, with creative inclusions including a flavoursome sea food salad. The grilled prawns were perfect. Highly recommended.
