Photos don’t do this place justice; it looks much better in reality. Starting with the fact that it’s a building inside a building, with a fake colonial façade, it’s quite spectacular. The food is also much more upscale than I expected: they serve amuse-bouches, including a wagyu crackling, and the steak comes pre-sliced with sauce and all. Definitely not cheap, even by London standards, but worth it nevertheless.

For the NYE dinner, food was very good, service was great. But dinner was served almost 2 hours later after our reservation.

Celebrated NYE 2025 with Garrison’s deluxe six-course tasting dinner. Restaurant's style is all over the place and completely incoherent. Food was good but each time they brought out a course, they mumbled through the description of what they were serving as if they were going through the motions rather than being passionate about what they were serving. Our waitress was great though. The price was too high for the experience and ambience. They validated parking which was very nice.

Dreadful new years eve experience. Felt bad for the servers who had to keep apologizing. Unfortunately this meal cost us over $1000.00 CAD.

We did the New Year's Eve 6 course tasting menu. We chose the food menu and wine tasting. They were very obviously ill-prepared for the event. It took over 1 1/2 hours just to get to the second course. Overall, we were there for over 3 hours. No meal should ever take over 3 hours. The food itself was just OK. Nothing particularly special about it. In all fairness I don't think the waitstaff was to blame. I just believe the kitchen hadn't properly prepared. I hadn't eaten at Garrisons before this evening, but seriously doubt I ever will again.

For New Year's Eve, I dined in a party of four at Garrison at 7:00 PM for their $150 pp tasting menu. An amuse-bouche was served approximately one hour after seating. The following two courses arrived over the next hour, with the second course being served at 9:09 PM. Upon request, the server provided an off-menu snack between courses to tide us over. The server attributed the delays to a new executive chef. The menu presented on the evening of the meal differed from the pre-paid online menu. Specifically, black truffles were used in place of the advertised white truffles. White truffles were offered as a $100 per person, per dish supplement. The fourth course, described online as a chicken dish, was substituted with a polenta dish without protein. The A5 beef, the final savory course, ended up as the only protein course. Plating and portioning was different from one plate to another at the same table, most notably on the A5 where the largest plate in our party was served approx. 50% more beef than the smallest plate. One portion containing inedible gristle that was returned to the kitchen. During the meal, the general manager ran two plates to us, but did not address the service delays or the menu discrepancies with the table after an initial greeting. The resolution offered for the truffle substitution was to shave 1 gram of white truffle over the existing black truffles in the dish. This differed from the usual practice of replacing black truffles entirely with white truffles when taking the supplement, as confirmed by the server. The bill initially presented did not include any adjustments. Upon request, one bottle of wine and one of two cocktails were removed from the bill. While the food served was of generally good quality, the service delays, menu discrepancies, and lack of proactive resolution from management detracted significantly from the overall New Year's Eve dining experience, particularly given the $150 pp price point.

This was my first time to do fine dining and it was excellent! My server David was amazing. I had the lion strip, tator tots and sour dough bread. Every single thing I ate was delicious. I wish I could have kept ordering lol will definitely be back! They even surprised me with a chocolate passion fruit dessert for my birthday. Oh and I tried the Belvedere and caviar - must try!!!

Garrison’s is always extraordinary!! Service and food just amazing. But even more special this time was that you all kept notes on when we asked if the chocolate soufflé was back. And this time you surprised us with its return! It was amazing. Thank you to everyone on the Garrison team…you all make the dining experience beyond special.
