    Garrisons at Townsville RSL is great, food and drink service is fast, kids meals and drink and ice cream vouchers are fun.

    Can't fault anything, apart from the time it took to clear our table. We did ask for it to be cleaned. It was half cleared, then we had to ask someone else to clear it, which it was. Apart from that we had a wonderful night.

    Garrison’s food was tasteless. I ordered Chicken Curry. It was like a soup. I didn’t find one piece of chicken. Got some chickpeas and ginger. Absolutely inedible. The place should be absolutely embarrassed to serve this poor excuse of a meal. Never, never, never going back.

    Unfortunately we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our food and the garlic bread came out with the mains. The chicken was over cooked and the sauce was just a very basic tomato. The steak wasn’t cooked correctly undercooked and very fatty. The noise in the restaurant area was way too loud as there was a live band playing opposite. The waiting staff were friendly however appeared to be very rushed and under pressure. The bar staff were unfriendly and gave the impression that they’d rather be somewhere else. Not a good experience unfortunately.

    We hadn’t dined at Garrisons before and really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely return!

    We had no table secured even though we booked. The food was ok, only ok. I think they need to step up their game for the price of the meals. Staff weren’t all that knowledgeable, possibly mostly new. Some light music playing would help with ambience.

    Good selection of meal with pricing to match. We had 3 different meals Barra, parmigiana Hawaiian, chicken schnitzel all were lovely so were the salads. Diane Sauce was the best I have had in 6 months. Very happy to go back to try further meal choices.

    No one to greet you, booked ahead, had to find our own seats on arrival. Food didn't come as advertised, missing key advertised ingredients and extremely salty, also cold in parts. No table service had to go and order meals and drinks at the bar. 5 star prices in a 2 star environment. Couldnt really fault the rest of the RSL, Might be back for entertainment in the RSL, won't be back for food.
