Enjoyed this experience. Beautiful setting, gracious hosts/owners and chef, currently finishing training at Culinary Institute of America. Liked the variety of choices for dinner. Excellent wait service, too!

Based on other posts, we chose this restaurant for a special occasion! What a mistake! They had our reservation but kept asking who we were. The ambiance is tired. The waitress had no idea about the specials, was loud and often brought multiple items out for other tables, put it on ours, served our items and then took the other dishes to other tables. The food was average and overpriced!

Lovely dining experience. Great cordial service and a relaxed setting. The menu has a nice variety and the portions were ample and tasty

We keep coming back. The food is consistently delicious and they use locally sourced food and ingredients grown locally or in the garden behind the Inn. The inn keepers are warm and gracious. They have live music at night in a piano lounge. Great place to stay too!

Many of items on the very small menu were unavailable - even rice that was listed to go with one dish was not there and waitress had an attitude

I'm so sorry we did not meet your expectations. Our menu is small as we are Farm to Fork and do not freeze and as you visited after a busy Saturday it is true, we were out of several items. My apologies. It is sometimes hard to gauge how much of fresh items to buy as you don't want to left with so much that it will spoil. In this case we underestimated the popularity of some items, and the amount of business we were to expect. I hope you will give us another chance to serve you.

The restaurant at Gateways is superb. Not only is the food excellent, but the service and attention to our dietary needs, was outstanding. Excellent entrees, salads, side dishes, and desserts. The next time we are in Lenox, this will be at the top of our list.

First time at this restaurant Came to listen to Wanda Houston who was performing. The entire staff was thrown by the crowds and couldn’t get their act together. Waitress (who was a filling in for sick staffer) couldn’t get orders correct. Food was pretty good - burger cooked as requested and great truffle fries. Salmon was fine. Nothing inspired, but ok. Drinks weak.

Birthday dinner before a Tanglewood concert. Food was delicious ranging from Beef ribs to Moroccan chicken. Thai Ginger carrot soup also yummy. Would come back again!

Service was slow and inattentive. Stuffed Portobello Mushroom was poor. Chicken Pot Pie had a fluffy top, but the bulk of the pie was mediocre.
