There were 6 of us and not one person said a bad thing about the food!!! Everything was yummy!!! We ate outside and it was perfect!

This is by far our favorite restaurant in the Cape. That being said we had the worst service we have ever had and it was disappointing. The food was amazing as always but they forgot one persons meal and we ended up having to pack it to go because everyone else had finished their meal. The hostess had to take our drink and food order after a 40 minute wait to be greeted. The first time our server even greeted us was after we already had our food order. Hoping this was a one time thing and not the new normal.

When Gather first opened the food was very good. Over the years the quality of the food has steadily declined. We dined there last evening and decided we will not be returning. First of all the coctails were weak. The Appetizer of fried corn bread with goat cheese and a bacon jam was nothing like the description on the menu. I got doughy fried fritter balls with some crumbly stuff on top that tasted nothing like corn bread. Then I ordered shrimp with sweet potato nochi, and the nochi was over done, brown and hard with a sugary sweet sauce. We also ordered Ramen which was tasteless. We left the restaurant feeling like they now cater more to tourist and are not concerned with quality.
