   Ambience right out of Paris. Wait staff attentive and interesting. Exceptional menu and food preparation. A delightful surprise among Budapest dining experiences.

   Really enjoyable evening from start to finish. Service was excellent, just right. We took our time and weren't rushed! The food was absolutely delicious as was the wine and soft drinks. A very special place.

   I dined at this restaurant a couple of times. I was looking for a quiet place with an elegant ambiance but without being overly posh. I had a very good time there. I sampled both fish and meat dishes and found them both very good and well served. There is care in the presentation of the dishes but the portions are large and do not leave you feeling that you have not eaten enough. The service is very polished, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and they speak perfect English (besides native Hungarian, of course). I recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner, for business or just (like me) to have a quiet chat with a friend. In my opinion it is not an ideal place for large groups that might be too noisy and annoy the very relaxed and quiet environment. From a price point of view, it is certainly not a cheap restaurant but the experience is worth the expense (water, bread, glass of wine, main course, dessert = around 35/40 EUR)

   Our family of 5 loved our dinner here. The staff were lovely and attentive, almost to a fault. The food was well presented and delicious. I had to return a little later, thinking I had left something behind and the staff responded with genuine care and concern. Thank you for a lovely evening and I can certainly recommend

   We were warmly welcomed on a very wet night and treated to attentive service under the watchful eye of a precise maitre d’. Our meal was simple — fish croquette, blue cheese, apple and walnut salad, traditional beef stew and chicken paprikash — but impressive in the quality of its preparation and presented in a unique and artistic fashion. The dining room was part of a small traditional hotel, cozy but with a quality of understated elegance in its antique furnishings. Altogether an outstanding dining experience for our visit to Budapest.

   Delicious food and pastries. Interesting wine list. The service was extremely slow and we had to ask repeatedly for our food. The lack of service diminish the experience.

    Food is great, but the service is sloppy. No one asked if we wanted anything else, the empty glasses and plates were not taken away.
