Gi-Jin is a gin and raw bar that re-imagines the sushi experience where we marry global ingredients with traditional Japanese flavors to create inspired combinations of color, technique, and style.

Our intimate space operates on a reservation-only basis for parties of
no more than FOUR (4) people per table and ONE/TWO per seating at our counter.
Online reservations are always open with real-time availability.
Each reservation seating is designated 2 hours per booking.

We do not allow any outside alcohol. if you have a request for a specific beverage please email info@gijinpgh.com prior to your visit and we will try our best to bring it in!

We have been many times and were excited to take someone who had not. From the very beginning the service was very slow. By the last order of nigiri we waited 45min with no fish in site. When we asked to just skip it and give us the check it took another 10min despite being a relatively quiet Tuesday night. Food was still outstanding though.

Fabulous experience! Our server was incredible. Everything from the creative cocktails to the edamame and salads and chef’s choices to the hand rolls and desserts, everything was divine. It’s one of our favorite places in the city.

The food was excellent. We had Mido soup, dynamite crab, nigiri plate and several hand rolls. They were all top notch. The portions are small, so if we hadn't had dessert, I would have been hungry afterwards. The staff was friendly and very professional. Service was laid back and helpful. We were seated right by the servers station, so it felt like they were on top of us the whole time. I guess someone has to sit there, but we had the first reservation and they took multiple walk-ins, so it would make more sense to give us a better seat at the counter. Overall, I'm probably being critical because of how expensive it is, but despite how nice it is, it's not worth it to me. . For that price, I think it should be over the top, and I don't think it was.

Great cocktails Not much interest in educating the diner on the vast array of Gin or sake on the menu. Other than that the good was delicious!

This is the second time we dined at Gi-Jin and had an incredible meal again! From the superb service to the amazing food and drinks we will be back! I would describe the sushi as eclectic, they have a modern twist on sushi that is exceptionally good.

Went on a date here and sat at the Sushi Bar, which was perfect. Chairs were super comfortable. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable, and she definitely took great care of us. In fact, all the staff members we spoke to (bartender, sushi chef, exec chef) were very warm, welcoming, and personable. Both my date and I wished we were hungrier, as everything on the menu sounded amazing. We got the Yellowtail appetizer, which was SUPER fresh and delicious, and the Beef Tataki, which came out looking STUNNING and tasted even better. definitely recommend both of those dishes. We look forward to coming back soon and exploring more of the menu!
