   Great service all around and it’s a cute little spot in LoSo. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night, wine night with friends, or just to have pasta you wouldn’t cook at home. The bruschetta and shrimp fettuccine were great! My wife’s Cavatelli was a tad bit salty but overall we’d go back to try the other dishes, especially the pizza!

   Service was exceptional. Food was very good. Our bread service was a little over done but the meals were excellent. The warehouse look of the restaurant doesn’t really fit for an Italian restaurant but it doesn’t take away from the experience. They should offer a side salad as an option. The drinks were acceptable

   I don't like to use this term but here I cannot find other words: Hidden Gem. We eat out a lot, and last night wanted to try something new. Giovanna popped up on the OpenTable app and we live not far away so we decided to take a leap of faith. It did not disappoint. In fact, we were very surprised as to the quality of the food. The inside looks modern and quaint. Some of the picture you may see make it feel a bit sterile, but it is not like that at all inside. The kitchen is wide open for you to see the action and the large bar sits against the outside window. There is a large patio with a fairly nice view of LoSo. Service was great too. Wife had stuffed portabella shrooms and a Caesar salad. I had the branzino which came as the whole fish fillet. it was delicious and well paired with a glass of pinot grigio. They also have specialty cocktails, most traditional ones with an Italian twist based on the liquors they use. Only observation is they have this beautiful barista station machine, but it is sort of hiding in the back and not at the bar - it looks like the bar area may be a bit too tight on the back side. Also, it is an Italian restaurant, but we did not find Prosecco - they do have other bubbles though. We can't wait to come back and bring friends here.

   Our first time trying Giovanna and it was a great experience! The food was super tasty and the service was on point. We will be back and definitely want to try the Chicken Parmesan!!

   Delicious, every bite. The meatballs were tender and perfectly seasoned and so good. The lasagne was a meld of two sauces and we loved it. The pizza was perfect and yummy. Good wine selection and great service. Very welcoming and attentive!

   I rarely take the time to write an interview but this local restaurant is excellent. Giovanna is truly deserving five stars and if possible, I would give it 10 stars!
