Giovanni’s Ristorante invites you to experience Italian cuisine in an atmosphere reminiscent of the old world charm where friends and family gather to enjoy more than just a meal. The homemade pastas, the prime cuts of meat, the fresh fish and farm grown vegetables are carefully prepared to preserve a distinctive flavor of the finest regions.

Specialty wines and spirits complement each course. Guests enjoy tableside conversation with Frances Cannarsa Truant, the “padrona” or perhaps a visit from Chef Randy Truant. The atmosphere is convivial, warm, and aromatic. The staff is seasoned, the service impeccable.

The Godfather Room is the ideal setting for a business meeting.

    As expected -- phenomenal!!! The food was delightful. This was my friends' first time and they were impressed beyond words. With promises to come back.

    We always stop here when in Detroit for my son’s hockey tournaments. He insists on it. The calamari is the best I’ve ever had.

    The food was outstanding as usual. It was a new server and she did a very good job. Drinks, appetizer , bread and soup were timely and good. The main dishes were excellent and it is why we take our out of town guests there. We get there several times a year and it is over a 25 mile drive to get there. Well worth then drive. We will be back.
