Glass Brasserie is an eloquent, lofty restaurant and wine bar with panoramic views overlooking Sydney's historic Queen Victoria Building. Under the culinary guidance of head chef Natalie Murphy, the Glass team dreams up honest, simple culinary experiences that celebrate the finest seasonal produce in imbued flavour.

The brasserie-style menu is designed to take guests on a journey, losing themselves in the enclaves of the restaurant's ambiance, flavours and character. Glass boasts one of Sydney's most comprehensive wine lists, curated by Head Sommelier, Mauro Bortolato for almost two decades. The 3,500 strong collection is encased in a striking wine wall that spans floor to ceiling through the space. Designed by renowned interior designer, Tony Chi, the restaurant's interior exudes equal party's intimacy and grandeur with it's ambient open-plan kitchen and expansive day-to-night dining experiences.

    An open space with a high ceiling means luxury and comfort, and I am lucky enough to sit next to Harry Meriton's boss. The food and wine have beautiful taste, which is a great feeling. The service is also outstanding. Well done!

    What a wonderful dinner experience. Our server Georgie spent time with one of our group going over gluten free options and made other suggestions to help us choose wisely. All the food was prepared perfectly and served with style and grace. My wine glass never went empty before it was magically refilled.

    Lovely atmosphere and service was very professional, friendly and prompt. Excellent choice of wines by the glass. Food was ok, nothing special, felt a bit institutional, not what we expected based on what we read about the restaurant/chef. Perhaps a bad night for the kitchen.

    We went for a belated Valentine's Day dinner. We shared bread and drinks for an entree followed by lamb and pork for our mains. Highly recommend the truffle mashed potatoes as a side, although the green beans side was fairly underwhelming. We enjoyed a few drinks, felt satiated by the meal, and had a lovely evening out celebrating a special day. We did arrive around 5:30pm so had a prime seat by the window and our meals came out quickly ahead of the theatre-goer dinners; however, we didn't feel rushed to finish dinner in the same timeline.

    I had a wonderful experience at the Glass Brasserie. I reserved Afternoon Tea for a party of six. Due to the unpredictability of the trains, most of us were running late for the reservation. The staff at Glass Brasserie were extremely understanding of the situation and we were able to delay the reservation. The atmosphere was lovely and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the savoury and sweet menu. They also offered a wide range of teas which were all incredible. I would definitely recommend Glass Brasserie.

    We love our dinners at Glass, stunning interiors, perfect lighting and beautiful outlook on to the QVB, easy central location to meet up. The food is excellent, always reliable quality and Mauro, Josef and the team are there to assist with food and wine choices, we look forward to next visit!
