Gleesons of Booterstown is a bright, spacious and beautifully designed dining space and bar in the heart of Booterstown. It is a local gathering place for family, friends and neighbours to catch up over good food and drinks. Enjoy an exceptional five star dining experience consisting of only the finest locally sourced Irish produce for each of our dishes. With a menu filled with choice, our dishes are prepared to suit every palette. Favorites include Chicken Piri Piri, Pan Fried Plaice, Beef and Guinness Pie, Prime Irish Fillet Steak with Daily Specials too. We’re open seven days a week serving breakfast from 8am, lunch from 12 Noon and dinner from 5pm with friendly service and a smile.

    Had dinner here with my friend who’s just arrived back home from the States for Christmas and she couldn’t have felt more at home. The cozy atmosphere, the staff and John Gleeson were so welcoming as always, Sophie looked after us very well and the food was absolutely delicious. Perfect way to start the Christmas season. Brilliant as always. Thank you.

    Good very good particularly the fish . Wine expensive but not excessively priced . Usually service is very good . On this occasion is was acceptable ( plates not taken away efficiently between courses and desert menu had to be requested ). 10 % service charge automatically added so no options .

    Met friends for late lunch. Beautifully decorated for christmas and lovely ambience.Staff very helpful and friendly. The menu is nice . Desert ordered but our choice not available and christmas pudding was a miniscule portion and not worth the 8.95 we were charged! Overall a nice place and experience

    One of our party had the duck dish and it has totally changed and not so good. Used to have half a really juicy duck sitting on beautiful stuffing underneath. Now it’s too fatty and very overdone and dry. All other dishes were good.
