   Lovely lunch at The Golden Cock. Quiet as it was a Tuesday but plenty of room and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and attentive. Plenty of choice in the menu and liked the smaller lunch option. Good choice for gluten free too. The fish was delicious and the batter was golden and right consistency. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Good value for money too.

   My wife and I enjoyed our visit to The Golden Cock. We ordered the Sunday Roast which was well presented and excellent value for money . The waiting on staff were very well mannered and nothing was too much for them. Definitely worth another visit in the near future .

   Lovely pub/restaurant in a lovely location with friendly staff. The food we had was nice and tasty but portion sizes are small, however that left us with space for desert which was excellent.

   Food was delicious. Disappointed by service. Waited an age in bar to be acknowledged but the food was good and price sensible. Pub is ready for a revamp, especially in the gents!

    Lovely atmosphere from walking through the door, fast efficient service from start to finish, food was beautiful it was my first time there but certainly won’t be my last. Highly recommend.
