Heritage pub turned Greek Islands-inspired paradise, Golden Fleece Hotel has brought Santorini to South Melbourne.

Entering off Montague Street, you’ll find curvaceous, stone-look tables, booths and an adjoining bottle shop where the walls are lined with vino you can take away! Make your way up the colourful mosaic-tiled stairwell you'll find a place to enjoy more cocktails after dining down stairs and nooks to sit back and relax, as well as a pool table and our DJ's on the weekend to keep the party forever going.

Our Walk-ins only intimate Santorini Rooftop is where you’ll feel most transported, as the sun beams down, sip on a fun Aperol Spritz, or a Aphrodites Elixr of Desire to feel the holiday vibes.

The menu is similarly Mediterranean. Among the highlights: Our famous fluffy oven baked bread accompanied by a selection of dips, and a delicious Yia-Yia's style Moussaka. Partner any dish with a wide selections of wines from our bottle shop or our famous Santorini Sour!

    Food was great, serving staff were lovely m, ambience on the rooftop area was superb to match the lovely weather. A very relaxing afternoon because we weren’t being rushed out of there.

    We were seated right in front of kitchen when I requested upstairs. Asked for an extra seating in email and tried to call no answer. Took 30 min to get a drink and 1hour for meals . Then eftpos was down and didn’t even thank us for our patience. Will never go back or recommend

    Nice venue with great food. The Galaktoboriko dessert was disappointing. They put their own spin on this classic dessert and was no need to.

    We ordered a selection of starters and mains. All the dishes where tasty and perfectly cooked, as well as beautifully presented. The cocktails where amazing. The space is beautifully designed, to look like a tavern in Greece. Staff are friendly and the recommendations where exactly what we wanted. Felt welcomed and taken care of. We will be back

    We had a lovely evening dinning and dancing The food was extremely lovely would have loved to have seen dessert on the menu Was great to see everyone having a good time dancing. The bar men and staff were fantastic 👌 thanks for the great night Golden Fleece !! Definitely a great atmosphere!!!

    Lovely food and wait staff. The music was a bit loud and it was difficult to hear the person I attended with talking, but apart from that, it was a beautiful restaurant.
