   Found bones within sablefish dish. Had to spit food out to get them. Ruined my dinner and was only comped the sablefish.

   As a designer I am always in awe over beautiful design. The layout, the moodiness, the ambience of the restaurant made it a vibe for sure. We sat at the bar for a couple drinks before heading to our table and our bartender was great. The velvet reverie was way better than an espresso martini, the finishing touch of the GF logo on items was the jewelry on top. The food was incredible. The scallops melted in your mouth, the tenderloin was tender and perfectly seasoned. The winning dish was the sable fish, flakey and buttery. The desserts were very unique. Our server Sean was incredible and made the experience that much better. He was very knowledgeable and so inviting. Thanks for a great meal Good Folk. It was more than good food, good time and good folk!

   Such a lovely birthday brunch experience. Sean our server was super friendly and attentive, top service! Food was delicious and good quality, really nice ambience in the restaurant. Will definitely come back again!

   The food was really good but the kitchen took a really time to get it ready and nobody said anything to us. We waiting more than 40 minutes to get our plates and the restaurant was not packed.

   Good Folk exceeded our expectations with great food, atmosphere and service. The menu was innovative and elegantly plated. Service was top notch, professional and surprisingly educated. Each dish’s ingredients and preparation we explained in detail including which wine selections would pair well and why. Hats off to Ivan for taking such good care of us!

   Overall, I had a great experience at this new restaurant in Banff. The ribeye dish for two was worth it.

    Incredible experience. Food was sensational, service was fantastic. Couldn't say enough good things about this place. We will be back, that's for sure.
