   Absolutely horrible experience... took over an hour to get food, and for 35 mins the fire alarm was going off with flashing lights in a very dark space that gave us a horrible headache. Pork chops had good flavor but were cool when we finally got them. Service was marginal at best. Not at all what you would expect for a restaurant with $50+ entrees. This was our 2nd bad experience so will never go back!

   First time visiting and it was everything I expected. Food was amazing, service was great. I highly recommend you going.

   I’ve been to Gordon a handful of times and this visit was a bit of a mess. I know there was a pool tournament taking place so it was more packed than usual. Upon arrival, greeted per usual and everyone was friendly. We get seated and our waitress took a while before arriving to introduce herself. She gets us situated and goes over the menu to my guest (first visit). We had placed for a bottle of wine and received that rather quick. Afterwards, she disappeared for a while before coming back to take our order. We ordered two beef Wellington and lobster risotto. I’ve had both in my prior visits and have never had an issue. But this go around, I was rather disappointed that the food was barely warm upon arrival. Our risotto was phenomenal, but the Wellington’s could’ve been lukewarm at best. We did a cheesecake and a sticky toffee. Both were delicious.

   Last night was very loud but just because they were busy... no problem! The lobster roll, steak, brussle sprouts, and cauliflower were all amazing. I didn't care for my chicken it was VERY salty. Like I was eating a cube of salt. Overall, I still love coming and will be back Monday night.

   Risotto, Steak, and scallops were perfect. Nicholas (gentleman with the glasses) gave excellent service!

   We love coming every year several nights while at the Derby (of course pending play time) last night only 2 of the 4 could attend but it was great. My husband had the strip med rare and ceaser salad and loved it. I had the roasted cauliflower, fries and chimichurri sauce and everything was amazing. The jam with the cauliflower is to die for! We will be back this evening hopefully with 4!

   Worst experience ever here. Have eaten here several times and this was last one for us. We had 5 tables that was seated after us and received there dinner before us and 1 table turned over 2 times. First our waitress was asking the chef for our appetizer and salad after 23 minutes went by. 14 minutes later we got our salad and appetizers. Then waited for food for another hour. Was told 2 different reasons ( 1 steak was needing to be recooked. And then second time had to recook due to needing to recook pork chop.) funny seen 2 pork chops go out and filets as well. Then they forgot to bring out the additional grilled shrimp and the explanation the lady gave was a moot point at this stage. I rarely complain but this was ridiculous. At the exorbitant prices should be better prepared. And to top it off the pork chop I ordered was tasteless (actually better seasoned pork chop at Waffle House 2 weeks earlier ). They just lost a regular customer. Went out for a nice dinner after a rough 4 days. Just made the day and the week worse. This one left a real bad taste with me. And that is hard to do.

    Our server, Beth; was outstanding!! Next time we go we will ask for her again! The food was excellent. Everyone had a great time!
