We went for. Christmas Day. The waitress was very accommodating of my daughter’s food allergies. The drinks and desserts were amazing!

We had the Christmas buffet. The food and service was excellent. However, the price of the meal negatively affected the value.

The grand buffet was very underwhelming with the buffet portion only being a small selection of appetizers and desserts. Additionally, some of the dishes in the buffet ran out so quickly you had to hover at the buffet table and wait for them to be refreshed or risk coming back and still not getting what you’re looking for. There was a selection of about 5 heavy “holiday dinner” options which were fine but nothing spectacular and came out lukewarm. Additionally, all inclusive (excluding drinks) also does not include a side of a vegetable offered with a main dish so we paid a surcharge for 3 pieces of broccoli because the dish selected for a main didn’t come with any sides. Everything was fine but felt so over priced at $90 a head plus an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of party size.

This was probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The only thing good was Santa and Mrs. Claus, they were exceptional. The staff was extremely rude to us from the start, with paying $90 a person and the holidays, I was expecting some level of service to make the experience feel special. We got the opposite. Our waitress looked like she hadn’t showered in days, she went through the motion of serving us but you could see she didn’t want to be there. As another review mentioned, the tea box just showed up on the table. She mixed up our tea orders and asked us to hand her our cups to pour, which I’ve never experienced with high tea. Then when I handed her my cup she rudely/sharply asked me to move my hand so she didn’t burn me. She talked to all us at the table like we were idiots. The tea was lukewarm anyways. At another point a staff member came and yelled at us because there were little kids playing in the curtains and told us to get our kids when my daughter was sitting right next to me. She didn’t even apologize. At the end Santa came to talk to my daughter so we stayed a little longer, and as soon as he walked away they turned the lights off in the restaurant to get us to leave which scared my four year old. At no point did anyone come up to us and ask us to leave which I feel would have been the more mature and proper way to handle the situation. Even then, we were getting ready to leave but stayed for the one on one time with Santa. We were excited to make this an annual tradition with my girls but I will never return to this restaurant again. It was so disappointing and I am just sad about the whole experience. I am hoping to speak to the hotel manager at some point because there is a serious training issue. Definitely not a leader in hospitality. I’ve received better service at Burgerville… maybe you should go there to recruit for better staff!

Made a reservation for afternoon holiday tea and was seated in an overflow room that looked like a coat closet with two tables in it. Bright lighting- conference room vibes- horrible bait and switch from the description on the website to the reality of the seating situation.

Well, I can’t rate the service or food, because I made the reservation with Open Table, they asked me to confirm it a day before my reservations. My friends and I showed for a Holiday High Tea only to find the restaurant closed. They changed their hours in November, well before I made my reservation. This may be a problem between Open Table and Gracie’s restaurant but either way, my friends and I had to scramble to find a place for our holiday get together. Then to add insult, Open Table sent me a note to write a review. I’m now questioning whether I should depend on Open Table.

The afternoon tea service did not live up to our expectation or the price. From the start it was apparent the servers had not been properly trained. To my surprise, a black box of tea samples abruptly appeared right in front of me without warning. Just there it was. Instead of serving hot water for tea from the right, the server reached in front of my friend to pour into her cup. There are other things I could mention but needless to say it was not the superior experience we hoped for the price a 20% gratuity. I’m sorry to say it was like eating at a fast food diner.

Took my mom and husband to Afternoon Tea for a holiday celebration and it was great. The restaurant confirmed with me three times that they could accommodate my mom's food allergy ahead of time and her choices were excellent. The service and ambiance were outstanding and the food was delicious. My one wish is that it were just a bit quieter for conversation, but the noise level was still reasonable for a full restaurant. We ill definitely return for Afternoon Tea and I hope they consider offering it year round.
