The food was warm, not hot. The coffee was cold. And when we asked for new coffee, it was lukewarm. I don’t understand how nothing came out hot. Very disappointing but a beautiful environment.

We had a lunch in Green Room. It's located in the back of the restaurant and it's very nice. The main dining room is brighter with more light and spacious. Both are really nicely set. Food was good, too. I ate them all up. We prefer escargot to be oven baked in simply butter/EVOO, garlic and lemon, but onion soup style was still good. Our waiter was sooooo nice. Very friendly and attentive. Overall, I'm so coming back here. (We are local.)

The food and the service were very good. The cocktail menu has an offer for all! The one issue I had was the noise level.

The escargot in puff pastry is one of the best bargains in NYC — $21 buys you puff pastry absolutely filled with beautiful garlic-buttery snails. It's a great app for two or even a small main course for one. And while not everything on the menu is super-affordable, there are other great bargains to be had, including the truffle fries that were absolutely saturated with freshly shaved truffles. The portobello French dip is just as delicious as the traditional roast beef version. And the cocktail menu is small but potent — and at $16, a lot cheaper than drinks at most restaurants nowadays. Beautiful atmosphere and prompt service so you don't have to worry about missing your train.

This restaurant was a real surprise. Located in Grand Central Station, this restaurant felt cozy without feeling crowded. Excellent service and my meal was superb. Highly recommend the portabella French dip sandwich and tarte tartin. Great place for a business dinner or friend get together.
