   I’d been here before so knew what to expect. My mum and sister hadn’t been and they were so impressed from start to finish. Food, surroundings, service, staff, just superb! I can’t think of anywhere better.

   Huge let down in service compared to previous visits . Very disappointing experience , will not be back sadly. An afternoon tea at Turnberry is meant to be a special treat experience , where being made to feel special is what sets it apart rather used to set it apart. We have no complaints about the standard of food which was good. However , there was no one to welcome us, no one offered to take our jackets , there was no explanation and introduction to the various teas and the afternoon tea service ( from previous experience ) , no tea strainers , tea timers , tea trolley , the personal approach was missing completely ; there was a stained tea cup which we had to ask to be changed . Overall a mediocre experience .

   Trump Turnberry is my favourite for afternoon tea, it was delicious and plentiful. The service is excellent and the views are simply stunning .

   Great experience, however a little expensive but a great afternoon out to celebrate a special occasion. Service 5 star as is the food and surroundings.

   "A truly delightful afternoon tea experience! The spread was sumptuous and generously portioned—so indulgent that I couldn’t quite manage my second scone, though it pained me to resist. The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and thoughtful, ensuring every detail felt special. An extra touch was the Happy Birthday plate presented to my husband with some sweet treats. The setting itself was a highlight, offering a breathtaking view of Ailsa Craig’s rugged beauty from our table. An ideal blend of culinary charm and serene scenery—perfect for a leisurely treat.     Visited a few years ago but things have gotten better which is marvellous. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Food and service 1st class.
