   Lovely lunch meal and service was amazing! Our Server Alison was so lovely and made us feel welcomed. Will return again .

   We shared number of entrees instead of having a main course etc. The Coffin Bay oysters, the Togarashi Scallops and the Greek Fried Calamari were excellent. The Beetroot Cured ocean Trout was a bit salty for our taste buds otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The service staff member was excellent and responsive to our requests allowing us to stagger orders over the evening. There was no delay with drink orders. Highly recommend.

   Service and atmosphere was great. We have been here many times and have always enjoyed our time at Grandview, however this visit was awful. Drinks and staff were good. The food was really poor and disappointing. Entree of brisket burnt ends - was small chunks of beef pan fried in flour.... Main of Prawn and scallop risotto - was gluggy boiled rice with peas and seafood on top.... Really disappointing.

   Arancini balls were tasty. Seafood risotto was bland. Ordered the limoncelllo dessert but was given the banoffee. Don't live in Bowen but doubt we'd go back if visiting sgain

   A favourite place for us to enjoy lunch with friends and the courtesy bus is a big help for members of the party who were less mobile

   My husband said his Blue Rare Eye Fillet was quality beef & cooked to perfection and I loved the light Tempura batter on my fish.

    Staff were polite and friendly. Burgers were good. The vegetarian rice cake meal was disgusting and should not have left the kitchen. Rice cakes were chewy like meat gristle and smothered with sauce. But the worst of this hotel was the mens toilet that has clearly not been thoroughly cleaned for a long time. There was a vile stink of filth and there was no soap. I assume the staff go there as well? The hotel was great last time we were there but this visit was very disappointing.
